Meet Richard Hatter

With over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, Pacific Home Inspections is built on a foundation of real-world knowledge, hands-on expertise, and a deep understanding of how homes are built.

Richard began his career in the field, working directly on job sites and gaining firsthand experience in construction from the ground up. He later transitioned into the corporate side of the industry as an entry-level estimator and, through hard work and leadership, rose to General Manager and ultimately Vice President of Operations.

During that time, Richard played a key role in growing a construction company from approximately $10 million to over $300 million in annual revenue, giving him rare insight into both the technical and operational sides of the industry.

After years at the executive level, Richard pursued his passion for real estate, buying, renovating, and selling homes. He has built homes from the ground up, transformed distressed properties, and managed projects through to sale. Through that work, he developed a deep appreciation for the role home inspectors play in protecting buyers and sellers alike.

That experience, combined with decades in construction and real estate, led Richard to found Pacific Home Inspections. His mission is simple: Help clients make confident, informed decisions about one of the most important investments of their lives.
